Lethal Weapon is een Amerikaanse actiefilm, met Mel Gibson en Danny Glover als twee politieagenten. De film valt in het \"Buddy Cop\"-genre. In 1989, 1992 en 1998 kwamen er nog drie vervolgen uit.

Verhaal

Martin Riggs en Roger Murtaugh zijn twee politieagenten. Aan het begin van de film hebben ze een behoorlijke hekel aan elkaar. Later in de film worden ze toch goede vrienden en werken ze samen.

Er springt een jonge prostituee van een balkon af. De vader van de prostituee schakelt Murtaugh in om de dood te onderzoeken. Riggs doet ook mee met het onderzoek. Tijdens het onderzoek stuiten ze op een gewelddadige drugsbende.

Storyline

Lethal Weapon is a 1987 American buddy cop action comedy directed by Richard Donner, starring Mel Gibson and Danny Glover as a mismatched pair of L.A.P.D. detectives and stars Mitchell Ryan and Gary Busey as their primary adversaries.

The film was a box office hit and resulted in a series of four films.
